I'm the first to admit it. I am possibly one of the most unorganized people on this planet. Like I would full on loose my head if it wasn't screwed on. 

I came across this website a while back where you could design you own notebooks and I just though 'perfect!! This is what I need to stay organised.' Personal Planner is a website where you can design your own notebook, diary, anything really to do with planners.

I've had mine for about two weeks now and I really love it. It completely fits to my personality because I choose everything, the covers, the inside; it's all me. It makes me want to write all my blog ideas into it and it has got my alot more organised!

For personalised notebooks, the prices are really good, as is the quality. The only downside is that they only ship to the UK. But for those of you like me who live in Ireland you can just use Parcel Motel!! If your as into notebooks as I am then I highly recommend this website.

Mini Jewelry Haul!!

Why hello there!

I am FINALLY doing a blogpost! I know that I haven't written one in over a week and I am so so sorry about that but I'm back from my holiday and I promise I will be writing more regularly from now on. I have a lot of fun blogpost ideas and I can't wait to share them with you all.

As you guys have read from the title, this is a haul post. My first ever haul post to be exact! While I was away in England and did some shopping so this will probably be the first of many haul posts!! Jewelry is such a love of mine so I just HAD to pick up a few bits and pieces.

I saw this necklace in New Look and I really liked it. It looks really delicate but also kinda edgy. I thought it would be a nice necklace to wear during the summer and for all the beach days I hope to have!

I really wanted to get a chain necklace, like really wanted one! And I saw this one in Topshop and I just had to buy it. Like isn't it just so beautiful???

H&M- €9.95 buy HERE

I actually didn't really want this necklace but I kept on seeing it in the shop and I guess it just grew on me!! I love the little points and I think it would be a nice thing to wear going out with the girls on a night out.

I love necklaces, I think they just complete the outfit. I know it's weird but my neck just feels naked without one. I love these necklaces and I know I'm gonna be wearing them all summer.

Habitat for Humanity-Day Five!!

                   Why hello there!

Day Five of Habitat was a very bittersweet moment for all of us, it was our last day building. Although we were all desperately tired and slightly cranky none of us wanted to leave. 

We had the morning to finish of the inside of the house and then at eleven we had the dedication ceremony and giving the keys of the houses to all the families. Although the weather was boiling, it was lovely to see the look on the families faces when we have them the keys and it just made the whole week worth it. 

After the dedication ceremony, we had a much needed shower and the teachers told us to pack and get ready for a 'short stroll'. 

That short stroll turned out to be a HUGE hike. Like the hill we hiked up was practically vertical, we were crawling up it at some places!!! After that hike (that did almost kill me) we had a really nice barbecue and got to talk to our families and all the builders and just generally have a really good time. 

The five days went by soo quickly and we all wished we could have been there for another five days because it was just so amazing!!

Habitat for Humanity-Day Four!!

Why hello there!

Day four on the building site was much the same as the previous day was. What really changed was afterwards. The mayor of Beius invited us to a barbeque at his place!!

There was only one slight problem with this idea though; the weather. It had been pouring rain since about ten in the morning. But everyone was glad to see more of Beius so we all put on our raincoats and piled into buses.

To be honest the food was pretty much the same as it was the past three days but the BBQ was still really fun. The families that we were building the houses for came as well and after about an hour, the rain stopped. For some odd reason there was also a DJ there and a bonfire too, so we ended up having like a mini rave around this huge bonfire!!

All in all it was a really fun day, and the BBQ was a chance for everyone to get to know our families and our teams even better!!

June Favorites!!

Why hello there!

Well July is here and I thought it would be fun to give you my June favourites. I've never done any of these before so you'll have to bear with me!!

BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer-€7.65

Concealer: Last month I used this concealer almost every day. I have really bad dark circles and I find it really hard to get concealer that covers them up. My friend recommended this too me and I really like it! It doesn't cover up the dark circles completely but it definitely helps!!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation-€10.99

Foundation:If you guys know me at all, you know that I LOVE this foundation and I am proud to say that this was the only foundation that I used in June. It just has the perfect coverage for my skin and I don't even feel like I'm wearing any foundation at all when I use this.

Maybelline Great Lash mascara-€7.49

Mascara:I bought this mascara a couple of months back on a whim. I needed something small and neat to fit into my bag and this one fitted the bill! I really like it though. It makes my eyelashes really stand out and I love how the formula isn't  clumpy or gooey. 

Rimmel-Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick-€6.99

Lipstick:I really like wearing lipstick, especially in summer because I'm not in school so I have more freedom in my make up choices. I got this lipstick in the shade 19 which is an orange-y red sort of colour and perfect for summer!!

Natural Collection-€2.99

Nail Polish:It's not so much the brand of nail polish that I loving this month but the colour. I really loved wearing white nail polish last month and I'm still wearing it even now!! The only problem is that I can't find any other brand that does white nail polish except for the Natural Collection. If any of you know where I can get some white nail polish please tell me below!!! I'll love you guys forever.

Boots Mango Body Butter-€4.59

Body Butter: The main reason that this body butter is in my June favourites is because of the smell. This stuff smells so good that I want to eat it. I wish that technology was advanced enough that you could somehow smell how beautiful this body butter is. 

LIFESTYLE FAVOURITES

Reading:I read this book in the last week of June. It's set in Pompeii two days before the Mt Vesuvius eruption and then follows the lives of an Aquarius, a former slave and the former slaves daughters for the two days before the eruption and the eruption itself. The book was slow to start off but once the story got going I just couldn't put the book down!!

Krisprolls-€1.20

Food: I cannot get enough of these beauties. I have tweeted about them and I may have even blogged about them before but I just don't care. I love them. There are like little crackers that you can put cream cheese or ham or anything really on top of them. I like to put a teaspoon of raspberry jam on top and then just basically eat a whole packet of them in a day. My addiction has gotten so bad that my mum will now only buy them once every two weeks because I eat them so much!!

Well that's it!! All my favourites in the month of June. I know this post was a long one and sorry to those who don't really like long post but I really enjoyed writing this!! Tell me below what you June favourites were :)

Habitat for Humanity-Day Three!

Why hello there!

So on to day three of Habitat. This is where the building became fun for me! My team and I had done most of the heavy lifting the past two days so now we had to get started on the plastering and 'raising the roof'.

The whole team was at the house on the third day which was such a blast because before then everyone was scattered doing odd jobs here and there. This is when we started to have the craic with everyone, including the Americans. 

I really should stop trying to seductively pose in front of cameras. It never seems to work out!

This was the day where all the wood, nails and cement started to really look like a house. You could see it in the family's faces that they were starting to get really excited. All in all I really enjoyed day three!!

OOTD-Town with Friends

Why hello there!

I did an OOTD post a couple of weeks ago and it was actually really fun so I though I'd do another one for you guys. The summer sales are on in Dublin city which is basically like the Mecca for teenage girls and and my friends and I of course had to go and spend whatever cash we could manage to squeeze out from our parents!!!

It's warm here in Dublin so I thought I'd take the plunge and wear a dress. The dress is from asos.com and it's a really loose and flow-y dress that I love and the bag that I'm wearing is from Bershka and perfect for taking around town because it's so small and cute. The jacket is Penny's best and I love it! It's so edgy and I think it really completes the outfit. I'm really sorry but I couldn't find the links for any of what I'm wearing but I'll look again for the dress and if I do find it, I'll have it in my next post!!

That's all guys. I really like doing these OOTD posts and since it's summer and my mum says I actually have to get off the computer and out of the house I think I might do a few more of these. Maybe even once a week? Tell me below what you think!!

Habitat for Humanity-Day 2

Why hello there!

I think it's about time for my to write about my second day on Habitat for Humanity. If you're not sure what Habitat for Humanity is you can read my post HERE and you can also read about my first day in Romania HERE.

Thankfully the second day wasn't as hot as the first day. There was even a thunder and lightning storm in the evening! We had managed to get the four walls up and our aim for the end of the day was to get all the roof tresses up.

I was working on the roof tresses and believe when I say that I have never hammered so many nail in my entire life!! Like I had blisters within blisters. The thing is though, I didn't even notice how tired and that I even had blisters until I was on the bus going back to the dorms.

We all had dinner in a big banquet room. And then because none of us had eaten any of the dinner we all the went to the Lidl and bought every single sugary food there.

The second day was just as good as the first, better actually because we all weren't melting with the heat and I actually began to have fun!

Summer Blockbuster Reads-Part 2

Why hello there!

I did a post in early June about my first summer blockbuster reads (which you can read HERE) and I figured why not do another one, eh? Live life on the edge!!

The book that I just finished reading was Call The Midwife by Jennifer Worth. It's a sort of biography/memoir about Worth's time as a midwife and nurse in the East End in the fifties. 

I bought the book because I had seen the first two series of this show on BBC. And I don;t know about you, but when BBC come out with a new drama-I'm gonna be watching that like a dog in front of a washing machine.

I found the book really interesting. It's like you could hear Jennifer Worth talking to you, and only you through the words on the page. Each chapter is like a short story but yet they all tied in together. I really enjoyed reading this book and it is the kinda book that you can read again and again.

I really liked reading this book, it made me laugh and have a little teary eye which is weird for me because I literally do not cry at anything and so it's a big deal when books make me tear up. If you guys love watching all the BBC dramas like me then you would really enjoy reading Call The Midwife.

Habitat for Humanity-Day 1

Why hello there!

Gosh it's been some time hasn't it? Over a week now. I've missed you so much, I felt so lost without putting my fingers on a keyboard all day. But I'm here and now I'm back with a vengeance!! For those of you who don't know where I have been all week I wrote a big long post which you can see HERE

I though I would right about my trip day by day and then post them everyone once in a while just so you guys wont get bored of the same ol' thing.

Because the big group of us had travelled through three countries the day before, we were all pretty damn tired going to the building site on Monday. Especially because it was over thirty degrees and if you guys know me at all, you know that I do not do well with heat.

This was the sight we saw when we arrived at the site. Just ten solid slabs of concrete. It was then that it hit me that this group of teenagers were going to have to build homes for people in just five days. All that was running through my head was 'who was stupid enough to think that this was a good idea?' I say the most work any of us have ever done was emptying the dishwasher.

There were a group of Americans staying for the week to help us out and they were exactly what we needed. They were so cheery that they really got us pumped.

All of us on the first day collectively thinking how the hell are we gonna be doing this.

For the first two days I was working on the trusses, which are these triangle-y things for the roofs of all the house. It was hard work especially because it was soooo HOT. Practically everyone there was Irish and Irish people just aren't built for weather any hotter the twenty degrees. But I have to say, that even though I sweated enough water for a swimming pool, I was really proud of the work I did and some of the houses even had roofs up by the end of the day!

We may have gotten a little thirsty throughout the day.

By the end of the day I was dead on my feet and like a zombie walking back to our dorms. There was a race to the showers though and boy do girls know how to run when they realize there were only ten showers for about fifty of us!

The thing was though, that even though I was knackered, I was really pumped to build again tomorrow. I met the family that we were building the house for and they were just so nice and made me feel so humbled. I realised that we weren't just building a house for them, they were getting a new life for themselves and there son. For the first time in my life I felt like I was contributing and putting some good into a person's life and that was probably one of the best feelings in the world.

OOTD-Irish summer

Why hello there!

I've never done an OOTD before but let's see how this goes!

The only thing that really changes in an Irish summer is that the wind and rain gets a little warmer.  So the clothes don't really change from Spring.

I love these jeans from Berska. They are so soft and it feels like I'm wearing leggings! I've taken to turning up my jeans at the end because I feel like it adds a little extra to the outfit.

This is my little bit of summer in my outfit.  I don't know what it is but hollister tops are just so soft and pretty and I can't get enough of them!!

And this is my little bit of winter in my outfit!! I love these style of jumpers and the ones from new look are sooo soft.

I have had these converse for years as you can probably tell from the state that they are in!! I prefer wearing converse then vans just because converse feel lighter on my feet.

And then finally, the big slouch bag! These types of bags are my life, I love wearing them and sticking everything but the kitchen sink in them.

Essentials for Romania-Part 2!!

Why hello there!

So yesterday I did a post about stuff I would be needing for my trip to Romania(which you can read about HERE) and I said in yesterday's blog post that I would write about what make up I was going to bring to Romania today. So let's crack on shall we?

So this is what I will be bringing my make up in. I know it doesn't look all that pretty but it's really handy and waterproof and y'know looks don't have to be everything! I actually won this from a competition in school so I don't know where you can buy them or how much they cost. This trip is for charity and we will be building for most of the day so I'm only packing a few bits and pieces of make up and here they are!

1. Foundation

Rimmel wake me up foundation-€10.99

If you guys know anything about me you know that I love this foundation. This is a must have for everywhere I go. 

2. Powder

Rimmel Match Perfection Powder-€7.69

As you can see from the picture, I use this product a lot. It's feels so good on my skin and I know it's weird but I love the smell!! When I'm away and it gets too hot I might just wear the powder on it's own with some concealer.

3. Concealor

If you guys know me at all, you'd know that I have serious dark circled under my eyes. Like it is so bad that my dad sometimes asks me where I got my black eye from!! No joke so I like to use a heavy concealer on my eyes. I got the benefit boi-ing concealer in a set and I love it!! Shade 01 suits my skin perfectly and it covers up most of my dark circles. When this little pot runs out I will definitely be buying the full size. 

Well that's it! I know it's not much but I won't be going out at all really because I'll just be on the building site the whole time. I'll probably do a big summer make up essentials later in the summer!! In the mean time what are your guy's summer make up essentials??

Essentials for Romania!!

Why hello there!

Okay so I was scratching my brain as to what to write about to day and then it came to me. I should write about everything that I am bringing to Romania-toiletries and make up wise. If you don't already know about my trip, you can read about it HERE

This trip is for charity and we won't really be going out much so I'm just going bringing a few bits and pieces but I thought I'd share them with you all the same!! I've split it into two groups toiletries which I'm posting abut below, and make up which I'm gonna post about tomorrow. So here it is:

 Toiletries

Some of the stuff here I wouldn't usually bring on holidays, but I suppose this isn't really a holiday so everything is gonna be just a little different.

1.Suncream

Soltan SPF50-€7.99 each

Yes I am aware that it's Soltan kids but aren't we all kids at heart?? Sun cream is probably a must have on this trip considering that the weather is between 30-40 degrees in Romania right now!! SPF 50 is a must have for me because I literally burn like nobodies business, even on the cloudiest day in Ireland I somehow manage to get burnt. (it's a gift really)

2. Insect Repellent

Boot's insect repellent-€8.09

This is one of the things that I don't usually bring on holidays, mainly because I don't often see a whole lot of insects in England! Apparently in Romania though, it's a little different. I'm lucky enough that I have only ever had one mosquito bite (on my eyeball ouch!) but I thought better to be safe then sorry!

3. Shampoo

Alberto Balsam green apple shampoo 400mls-€1.39

You guys know that I am full on in love with Mane n' Tail shampoo and I so wanted to bring it on this trip. I know it sounds weird but it was just too special for me to bring it on this trip, I need to know that my beautiful shampoo is safe at home.(that sounds really weird, doesn't it?) I really like Alberto Balsam though and the green apple one just smells so nice!!

4. Wipes

Wet ones-€1.49 

Anyone up for a wet one?(ohh naughty!!) Haha yes, I know this is what I find funny. Wipes are a must for me everywhere and I love using Wet ones because they are really compact and neat so they fit in anywhere.

5. Hand gel

Cuticura hand gel-€1.99

Hand gel is also a must have for me everywhere. I may be a bit if a germaphobe. I decided that because this is such a big trip that I would splurge and buy a whole new tub of it!

6. Bite cream

Boot's bite and sting cream-€3.45

This is also one of the things that I wouldn't normally bring on holidays but I'd would rather be safe then sorry! I do hope that I won'/t have to use this though.

6. Plasters

I couldn't find a price for these plasters but you can get plasters anyway these days so I'm sure that won;t matter! Plasters are probably one of the most important things that I am bringing on this trip considering I'm working on a building sight. With my clumsiness there is a big chance I will be using these.

Well that's all the toiletries. I will be posting my travel make up tomorrow! You can buy everything I posted here at either Tesco and Boots. I don't know whether it's because I'm writing these posts or that it's only a couple days until I go but I'm getting sooo excited now to go!! What are your guys travel essentials?
